Philly Plumbers Upset by Waterless Urinals

Philadelphia --- The 57-story Comcast Center, which is expected to be completed by next year, has drawn criticism for trying to be environmentally friendly. Worried about losing business, the plumbers union is trying to stop the planned installation of 116 waterless urinals in the building, even though it would create an expected savings of 1.6 million gallons of water a year. States in CO2 Pact Eye Trees, Methane at Dumps

Immortal Styrofoam Meets Its Enemy

Researchers at the University College Dublin found that by melting Styrofoam and converting it into styrene oil, soil bacteria called Pseudomonas putida could convert it into a biodegradable plastic called PHA(polyhydroxyalkanoates). San Francisco To Test Turning Dog Waste Into Power
